About
I’m Emma. I’m a 23 year old mum, part time Disability Support worker and University student studying a BA in Psychology. I live in the island state of Tasmania, Australia with my husband Daniel…

Our beautiful son Blake, born on the 8th July 2009…

and another adorable little boy Byron, born on the 25th May 2011…

and our two tomcats, Kitty and Coco (who, despite appearances, are not at all related)…

I have been blogging online for seven years and before that, I was building homepages on Expage and Excite.
Blogging, and video blogging, is my way of sharing with family and friends a snippet of my life – and now OUR lives together as a family. It’s creating memories, chronicling every important moment. It’s how I’ve met some amazing people who have become close friends. It’s my personal soapbox, ranting stage, place to complain and bitch and moan when the mood strikes.
Aside from blogging I also enjoy reading, organizing, planning, nature, photography, all animals great and small, parenting, gaming, social networking, fixing broken computers, scrapbooking, journaling, sewing, crafts, body modification, consuming too much carbohydrate, anything rockabilly and 50′s retro, electronic music, dancing and human sexuality.
I dislike romantic comedies. I dislike chauvinism, sexism, bigots. I am a hypocrite and I find the existence of men, with the exception of a select few, to be a nuisance. I cannot stand animal cruelty, people eating with their mouth open, cooked vegetables.
I am feisty; I have a temper to melt a polar icecap. While I don’t put much importance in Astrology, I am a typical Piscean. A March baby, I am emotional, bossy, sensitive, a gossip and a dreamer. I am empathetic to a ridiculous degree – I may cry more over your hardship than you do. I am impractical and fiery. But I am also loyal, honest, frank and very down-to-earth.
After spending several years ploughing my way through troubled times, I can finally say this: I love my life.
