The pregnancy’s going well. Almost 38 weeks. Bub’s head is nice and deep in my pelvis apparently (according to both my cervix, with all it’s stabbing pains, and the obstetrician). He was also in left occiput anterior position (the most ideal position for labour) yesterday which was a nice change from his posterior position last time we checked. I’ve had an upset tummy all day and tight hugging back pain…I’m really hoping bub makes no escapes over the next ten days because my obstetrician’s gone on holidays! Thankfully, bub has had no further giant growth spurts and is around 6.8lbs at the moment.
We had our baby shower last Sunday. Mum organized it wonderfully, though we held it at our house because it’s much bigger than hers. So many people showed up and I felt so rude because people came and left that I didn’t really get a chance to talk to. I was so tired! Our friends and family were so supportive and so very generous with gifts, we’re extremely lucky.
